5 rounds for time: 400 m run, 21 kettlebell swings and 12 pull-ups. Each band is a round the app found in your heart rate.

Train as usual. Afterwards, on your phone, the app lines your plan up with your heart rate.

There's nothing to tap mid-workout. The app only needs the plan and the heart rate your watch already records.

  1. For time, 5 rounds:

    400 m run

    21 KB swings 24/16

    12 pull-ups

    01

    Import the WOD

Paste the whiteboard text or take a photo of it. The app reads the rounds, reps and loads and builds the plan for you. The warm-up and cool-down stay apart from the rounds.

  2. 02

    Train with your watch

With an Apple Watch, the MatchWOD app puts today's plan on your wrist and records the workout. With any other watch, record it with the workout app you already use. Your heart rate is stored on your phone.

  3. 03

    Confirm the match

Pick the session from your watch and the app finds each round in your heart rate. Fix the boundaries if you need to. With Premium, the proposal is ready and you confirm it with one tap.

The app reads
  • For time with a time cap
  • AMRAP
  • EMOM
  • Circuit
  • Sets
  • Intervals
  • Hyrox
  • Running

Today's plan, on your wrist.

With an Apple Watch, pick today's workout and press Start. The watch follows the plan step by step: it times each part, tells you when the next one starts and shows your heart rate and zone.

  • In an EMOM or a circuit you don't touch the watch. In a For Time, hold your finger on the screen at the end of each round.
  • With those marks, the app already knows where each round starts and ends when it lines the workout up with your heart rate.
  • At the end you see your average and max heart rate and the time in each zone, and you rate the effort from 1 to 10.
  • On Android, keep recording with your watch's own workout app, as before.

The workout in four numbers.

Each number comes with its scale and what it's compared against.

Result 21:48 inside the 25:00 time cap
Average working HR 162 bpm 88% of your max heart rate
Time in high zones 14:10 65% of the workout in Z4 and Z5
Slowest round 4:41 R4, 43 s more than R1

I want to see my workouts like this

And every morning, how you are.

Every morning the app reads last night's heart rate variability (HRV) and resting heart rate and compares them with your usual. With Premium, today's headroom tells you on the same card whether a hard workout still fits, and the widget puts all of it on your home screen.

  • The app's background takes the colour of the day: green above your usual, blue within it, amber below.
  • Instead of a recovery percentage, you see what was measured with your usual next to it.
  • Your watch's VO2max sits apart, under Aerobic fitness, and doesn't change the morning score.

Your records keep themselves.

The app recognises benchmarks, keeps RX apart from scaled and stores your best Hyrox stations. For strength, it keeps your best load for each rep count and works out your 1RM. Write the plan in percentages, like “5×3 at 80%”, and the app tells you how many kilos to put on the bar.

Run a box? Publish the workout of the day.

With Communities, the coach plans the workout on the web and athletes pull it into their plan. Results arrive already matched with each athlete's heart rate.

  • The week's plan, with the time cap and scaling for each part
  • Leaderboard by division, RX or scaled, switched on per workout
  • TV mode for the screen in your box
  • Each athlete compares their workout with the class
